Shana Ray Lee

Shana Ray Lee, age 40, of Charlotte passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017. She was born October 3, 1976 in Lansing the daughter of Roger and Cynthia (Peterman) Lee. Shana loved her family with a deep devotion and was especially proud of her two wonderful daughters. She was a woman of impeccable moral character and prided herself on being honest, genuine, and loyal to all she came in contact with. Shana worked at the Charlotte Taco Bell and cherished the many friends she made while at work. She is survived by her daughters: Samantha Friar of Lansing, Sage Friar of North Carolina; mother, Cynthia (Randy) Combs; sister, Brandee Combs; several aunts, uncles; and numerous friends. Shana was preceded in death by her father; and grandfather, Leonard Peterman. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 6 PM at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor Charles Jenson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Shanas memory to her daughter, Samantha Friar, to assist with expenses.
