Sharon Kay Worden

Sharon Kay Worden of Charlotte, MI, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 at the Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Sharon was born August 3, 1948 in Owosso, MI the daughter of Jack and Lenora (Anson) Saylor and had lived most of her life in the Charlotte area. She was mostly a homemaker but had worked outside the home at Carter’s IGA and enjoyed working as a caregiver for the elderly. She enjoyed Bowling, Bingo, playing cards and baking. She enjoyed her pets and enjoyed helping people. Surviving are: her husband of 39 years, Russell Worden; 4 sons, Brian (Pamela) Caruthers of Charlotte, Chris (Stacey) Caruthers of Hastings, Jesse (Angie) Worden of Mason and Jason Worden of Holt; 5 grandchildren, Joseph, Jason II, Darienne, Alyssa and Connor; brother, Gary (Penny) Saylor of Charlotte and sister, Jody (Kent) Laubhan of Alva, OK. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Pastor Shane Bryant officiating.
