Shelly Sue Dean

Shelly Sue Dean, age 57, of Lansing, formerly of Lapeer, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. She was born July 2, 1964, in Lapeer, Michigan the daughter of Robert and Annette (Bliss) Sawgle. Shelly had a heart of gold and was always concerned about the needs of others. She adored her family and loved being together with them each and every opportunity she had. Shelly enjoyed playing volleyball, spending time outdoors, and creating arts and crafts. Shelly is survived by her children: Stacey Dean of Charlotte, Shane Dean of Lapeer, Victoria Dean of Charlotte; parents: Robert and Annette Sawgle of Lapeer; siblings: Robert (Amy) Sawgle of Lapeer, Sherry (Mike) Wilson of Cedar Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In keeping with Shelly’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Those desiring, may make contributions in Shelly’s memory to her family to assist with her final expenses.
