Shirley Marcia Rinckey

Shirley M. (Masters) Rinckey age 60 of Charlotte, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the Sparrow Hospital in Lansing after a short illness. Shirley was born January 9, 1951 the daughter of Robert F. and Doris E. (Lynd) Masters and was a lifelong resident of the Charlotte and Olivet areas. She was a 1969 Graduate of Olivet High School and had served in 4-H as a young person. She was employed in Clerical/Office work for the Centennial Insurance Group and previously had been employed by Carter’s I.G.A and Comerica. She enjoyed sewing and making clothing, dancing, listening to music, doing yard work and shopping. Surviving are: her husband, Thomas Rinckey; her daughter, Taryn Lynd Rinckey of Charlotte; brothers, David L. Masters of Hudson, Florida and Larry L. (Kathy) Masters of Charlotte; brothers-in-law, Robert S. (Ni Ni) Rinckey of Coral Springs, FL and Charles F. Rinckey of Barryton, MI and her father-in-law, Robert W. Rinckey of Lansing. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Randy Carleton officiating. Interment will be in the Bosworth Cemetery, Olivet. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
