Stephen Gerard Rieder

Stephen Gerard Rieder, age 57, of Charlotte, formerly of Florida, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Glen Arbor Hospice Residence in Battle Creek. He was born August 12, 1964, in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Raymond and Karan (Dunn) Rieder. Stephen had a passion for cars and worked his entire life in autobody. He loved making cars look like new again with a fresh coat of paint. In his spare-time he enjoyed fishing and traveling. Stephen was a magnificent cook and enjoyed working in the kitchen. Stephen is survived by his mother, Karan Spencer of Charlotte; siblings: Terri (Kevin) Geiger of Charlotte, John Rieder of Arizona, Michael Wilson of Flint, Sunny Reeves of Arizona, and Timothy Wilson of California. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Raymond and Frieda Rieder; and brothers: Raymond Rieder and Tracy Rieder. A private burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park in Flint, Michigan.
