Theresa Renee Grimes-Baum

Theresa Renee Grimes-Baum, age 43, of Sunfield, formerly of Lansing, passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 6, 2021. She was born September 28, 1978, in Lansing the daughter of Ronald and Doris (Williams) Grimes. Theresa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all. She loved PEPSI and would never be found without one nearby. She enjoyed many different television programs, loved listening to music, and U of M sports. Theresa is survived by her husband Troy; children: Kuymeisha Gordon of Charlotte, North Carolina, Carl Gordon Jr of Holt, Daundrey Gordon of Lansing, Jacaria Gordon of Lansing, Trayte Shelby Baum of Sunfield; 9 grandchildren; sisters: Rhonda Williams of Charlotte, Antoinette James of Chicago, Illinois; and father, Ronald Grimes. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Grimes. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 2 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing.
