Toni Louise Spurbeck, of Lexington, Michigan passed away comfortably and in peace surrounded by those she loved Saturday morning, July 13, 2019. She was born June 23, 1959, in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of Lloyd and Irene (Forquer) Curtis. There was a myriad of things that brought Toni joy in life. When she and Ken were dating, they loved to spend time together watching the otters play in Aboretum Park. She loved spending time outdoors whether it was in her beautiful garden or listening to the incessantly soothing sound of the waves at the beach. Toni loved her grandchildren with an undying love and time spent together with them was precious to her. She loved crocheting and reading her Bible. We will remember her for her giving spirit. She would give her last dime and leave herself broke as long it helped someone else. She loved to cook and bake and was known to bring four pies to a party with just four people! Toni was a daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and a nana. She loved her family with a fierce love. She was the colors between black and white. When you see red in a sunset; thats her. When you see purple in a storm; thats her. She was a spectrum; she was what life should look like. Toni devoted her life to making other lives better. She truly was a game changer. Everyone that knew her is better because of her influence. She was a fighter, a lover, and the best person you ever had in your corner. Always having your back, she was proud of you no matter what. Earth may be missing her now, but heaven is better is a better place because she is there. Toni leaves behind her soul-mate: Ken Spurbeck, of Charlotte; two daughters: Nicole (Curtis) Trudeau of Burtchville Twp., Angie (Jason) Smith of Charlottte; and one son: K.C. Spurbeck of Charlotte; five grandchildren: Sara and Claire Trudeau; and Mikayla, Martina, and Markayden Smith; two sisters: Rena (Randy) Farr, Jamie (Dan) Sykora; one brother: Bruce Curtis; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters: Carol Bauer, Mary Lower, Cindy Coombs, and Brandi Curtis.
