Vicki Lee Mccarn

Vicki Lee McCarn, age 69, of Olivet, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. She was born November 16, 1952, in Charlotte, the daughter of Vern and Katherine (Wright) Howard. On December 6, 1969, she married Gary Lee McCarn. Vicki was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family with a fierce devotion and did her very best to ensure they were loved and cared for. Vicki was a tremendous cook and her family loved spending time around her table. She had a passion for fishing. Every opportunity she had she was out on the water with her pole in hand. Vicki enjoyed taking care of all animals. Whether they were wild or domestic she cared for them all. She also enjoyed trips to the casino with Gary and shopping for the next best deal. Vicki was known to have a way with words and you never had to wonder where you stood with her. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gary; children: Dana (Connie) McCarn of Battle Creek, Tim (Sandy) McCarn of Olivet, Eric McCarn of Olivet, Beth (Dan) Frisbie of Olivet; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and sisters: Sandy, Sharon, and Linda. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents. In keeping with Vicki’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
