Wanda L. (Watson) Dailey, age 74 of Olivet, MI, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Residence, Battle Creek. Wanda was born Feb. 1, 1937 in Liberty City, Kentucky a daughter of Clarence E. and Lillie (Stone) Watson and was a lifelong Olivet area resident. She was a Graduate of Olivet High School, was a member of the Lee Center Church, member of the Marshall Moose Lodge and had been an active member of the Olivet Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a retired employee of Olivet College with 30 years of service. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Ann (Donald) Wireman of Olivet and Marcia Marie (Jack) Lance of Melvindale, MI; 2 sons, David Zar (Karen) Dailey of Everett, WA and Dale Michael (Leslie) Dailey of Olivet; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Larry Dailey; 6 sisters, Barbara Cardinal, Thelma Pauley, Anna Collins, Ella Lee, Linda Crouch and Marion Watson and 1 brother, Victor Watson. Per Wanda’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011 at the Bosworth Cemetery on Stine Road, Olivet, MI with Pastor Winford Collins officiating.
