Ward E. Loveless

Ward E. Loveless of Olivet, MI, age 82, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. Ward was born December 21, 1932 in Brookfield Township of Eaton County, the son of Forrest and Bernice (Shaw) Loveless and was a lifelong Olivet area resident. He was a lifelong farmer and owned and operated Loveless Sales & Service dealing in farm equipment and supplies. He was a member of the Farm Bureau, enjoyed his Motor Home and “RVing”, Mushroom hunting, Going “up north”, Dancing and Polka Festivals, going to farm progress shows and attending his grand kids sporting events. Surviving are: his wife of almost 65 years, Barbara (Wyble) Loveless; 4 children, Larry (Julie) Loveless of Holt, Linda Loveless of Charlevoix, Lori Sedlar of Springport and Lyle (Carol Poppe) Loveless of Central Lake; 6 grandchildren, Jason Becker, Bradley Hoeve, Marcus Loveless, Kassandra Loveless, Terry (Sally) Sedlar and Chad (Jennifer) Loveless; 3 great grandchildren, Damien & Mycaela Loveless and Tori Sedlar; sister, Shirley Heisler of Olivet; special family friends, John & Laurie McManus and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; 2 sisters, Coralie Van Dyke and Dorothy Bradley and brother, Glenn Loveless. A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Pastor Winford Collins officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 PM and Thursday from 3-4 PM prior to the Memorial service. A dinner/reception will be held immediately following the Memorial service at the Eaton Area Senior Center, 804 S. Cochran in Charlotte. Memorial contributions may go to the Eaton Community Palliative Care, Oaklawn Hospice or the American Diabetes Association.
