Wayne Eugene Potter

Wayne E. Potter, age 70, of Lansing, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. He was born January 3, 1952, in Lansing the son of Gerald and Annabelle (Awrey) Potter. On August 12, 2007, he married Barbara L. Reynolds. Wayne enjoyed pitching horseshoes and spending time with his family. He loved to joke around with those he loved most. Wayne retired from Sam's Club in Lansing after many years of service.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Barb; children: Tera (Eric) Haynes of Holt, Marsha Thompson of Lansing, David (Shannon) Reynolds of Lansing, April (Charlie) Kunkel of Leslie, Stephanie Ross of Lansing, Sarah Hoffman of Lansing; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings: Wanda (Bill) Smith of Mississippi, Noreen Briles of Holt, Steven (Bonnie) Potter of Charlotte, and Gerald (Julie) Potter of Haslett.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald and mother, Annabelle (Tom);  and one brother.

In keeping with Wayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
