William Gilbert Allen, Jr.

William G. Allen, Jr., of Charlotte, MI, age 86, died Thursday Dec. 22, 2016 at the Eaton Community Palliative Care in Charlotte. Bill was born Oct. 17, 1930 in St. Clair, MI the son of William G. and Beatrice (Buckler) Allen, Sr. and had been a Charlotte resident since 1960. He was a Graduate of St. Clair High School. He was a Master Electrical Contractor having co-owned A & H Electric in Charlotte. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Jessica Darlene Groce and his wife of 62 years, Jacqueline Jean Allen in 2015. Surviving are: his son, William G. (Debra) Allen III of Nashville; daughter, Michele E. (Ronald) Groce of Lakeport, MI; grandchildren, William G. (Tiffany) Allen IV, Stephanie Allen, Gilbert (Jessica) Groce, Eric (Kate) Groce and Cedric (Katelyn) Groce and 10 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
