William V. Dillinger

William V. Dillinger age 57 of Charlotte, MI, died Wed. Aug. 4, 2010 at his residence of natural causes. Bill was born Sept. 16, 1952 in Charlotte, the son of James Riley and Patricia Jean (Rose) Dillinger and had lived most of his life in Charlotte except for short times in Tenn. and Florida. He was an Inspector for the Mich. Dept. of Transportation from where he retired in 2008 after 16 years of service. Surviving are: his wife of almost 30 years, Judi (Effner) Dillinger; Son, Zachary (April) Dillinger of Charlotte; his mother, Patricia Jean (Rose); 2 sisters, Wanda Hensley and Michelle Courtright both of Gleason, TN. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica “Jessie” Dillinger in 2009; his father, James Riley Dillinger and his brother, James Riley Dillinger, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P. M. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Rev. Philip Hobson of the First Congregational Church officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 P. M. until time of services at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may go to the Lupus Foundation. Envelopes available at the Funeral Home.
